Fox™ Valve

Protecting Local Waterways with the Fox™ Valve System

The Fox™ Valve system is a stormwater and tradewaste diversion device designed to prevent pollution of downstream waterbodies. By diverting washdown water and/or first flush stormwater runoff to trade waste, the Fox™ Valve helps ensure that contaminants are captured and treated before they can enter the stormwater network or local waterways. You’ll often find Fox™ Valves installed at commercial sites, industrial facilities, and areas where washdown activities or spill risks are present.

How Fox™ Valves Work

The Fox™ Valve system automatically detects washdown or first flush events and diverts contaminated water to the trade waste system. This ensures that only clean stormwater is discharged to the environment, while pollutants are sent for proper treatment and disposal.

Why Maintenance Matters

Regular maintenance is essential to keep Fox™ Valves operating reliably. Over time, debris, sediment, or mechanical wear can affect valve performance, leading to uncontrolled discharge or system failure. Routine inspection and cleaning help ensure the diversion system works as intended and remains compliant with council and environmental requirements.
