EnviroPod® Filter

EnviroPod® Filters are innovative stormwater filtration devices designed to capture and retain litter, sediment, and other gross pollutants before they enter the drainage network. Installed inside catchpits, Enviropods remove a high percentage of gross pollutants and suspended solids, helping protect New Zealand’s waterways from contamination.

As stormwater runoff enters the catchpit, the EnviroPod® filter traps litter, sediment, and debris, preventing these pollutants from flowing into the stormwater system. This makes Enviropods an effective standalone treatment solution for small catchment areas and an excellent pre-treatment option in a treatment train alongside hydrodynamic separators, filtration systems, ponds, and wetlands.

A well-maintained EnviroPod® Filter ensures optimal pollutant capture and free water flow. If the filter bag becomes full or blocked, water cannot pass through, leading to flooding and potential property damage.

At Dutton Stormwater, we provide comprehensive EnviroPod® Filter maintenance services across New Zealand, including cleaning filter bags and sourcing and installing replacements. Our team ensures your stormwater system remains efficient, compliant, and environmentally responsible.

EnviroPod® Filters typically require maintenance every three to twelve months, depending on site conditions, pit depth, and traffic volume. During each service, we review the device’s condition and include a tailored recommendation in your service report.

If you’d like to take a hands-on approach and empty your EnviroPod® bag yourself, Dutton Stormwater makes it easy and safe. We’re proud to introduce our newly patent-pending Catchpit Grate Lifter—the same tool our professionals use to safely access and remove EnviroPod® bags.
